Any Parent Aunt or Uncle knows of the persuasion power of kids. The kids made a deal with dad and as a reward, got bough, the dog as first pet. The President and teacher associations are taking advantage of that here especially. In watching and recording the speech, issuing assignments on the topics in the speech and don’t forget urging parents and guardians to support his policy.

Watch with your kids, research before you support, and discuss why or why not that you support Mr. Obama’s programs. Use this as a lesson in politics in a democratic republic with a healthy debate and maybe all will learn something.
